| 99 | A high-gloss, flexible ink with excellent outdoor durability. Has excellent adhesion to vinyl, acrylic and polycarbonate substrates, combined with exceptional flexibility. It is suitable for double-sided, multilayer prints on vinyl decals, as well as prints needing to withstand forming/embossing. Also good for large-format displays on rigid plastics. (Coates Screen Product Data Sheet, series C99) |
Pressure-sensitive vinyl, rigid vinyl, self-cling vinyl, surface-treated polyester, polycarbonate, acrylic substances not suitable for styrene |
| 88 |
Formulated for the automotive, membrane switch, and appliance industries. Can come in strong, transparent colors with lens-like clarity, as well as highly opaque inks. Offer good flexibility with excellent adhesion to polycarbonate. When thoroughly dried, they resist delamination by most common transfer adhesives. Matte finish. (NazDar catalog 41)

Polycarbonate, top-coated polyesters, vinyl films |
|
VF |
Similar to GV, but formulated to dry with a matte finish. Formulated to fuse with vinyl surfaces. Can be used on rigid and flexible vinyl plastic, as well as some vinyl coatings. Have excellent opacity and fast drying qualities, with good printability. Will dry to a film as flexible as the vinyl itself. Low odor. (NazDar catalog 41) |
Rigid and flexible vinyl |
| GV | Formulated for printing on vinyl surfaces where a high gloss is needed. Form a positive bond with most vinyl surfaces and will dry to an extremely flexible film which may be vacuum formed. Pigments used have been carefully selected for best resistance under outdoor exposure. (NazDar catalog 41) | Pressure-sensitive vinyl films, vinyl coated products, vacuum formed vinyl plastics, Lucite®, Lexan®, Plexiglas® |
| 44 | Formulated for printing on a wide variety of vinyl and vinyl coated surfaces and recommended for press runs. Ink forms a positive bond with substrates and produces a high-gloss finish which may be vacuum-formed. Most colors selected for extended outdoor use. Suitable for thermo-diecutting. (NazDar catalog 41) | Pressure-sensitive vinyl films, vinyl coated products |
| Day-glo | Available in Aurora Pink, Neon Red, Rocket Red, Fire Orange, Blaze Orange, Arc Yellow, Saturn Yellow, Signal Green, and Horizon Blue (TM Day-Glo Color Corp). Dries with a matte finish. Not suitable when string solvent resistance is needed. Not recommended for use under direct sunlight. | |
| Ultraviolet / UV (cured by ultraviolet light) | ||
| 02 | Is abrasion and chemical resistant, opaque, embossable and heat-sealable with excellent intercoat adhesion. Works well where heat-sealability and flexibility is required. (Nor-Cote 02 Series technical specifications sheet) | Soft vinyls, bookcloths, decal materials, and polyesters |
| 09 | Has a matte finish, with excellent adhesion properties. It is durable and abrasion and chemical resistant. Has a wide range of topcoat textures, from matte to satin finishes. (Nor-Cote 09 Series technical specifications sheet) | Polycarbonate, polyester, compact discs, rigid PVC and bookcloths |
| MSK | Provides outstanding character definition, multiple pass intercoat adhesion and is resistant to attack from pressure sensitive adhesives. It is flexible, opaque, embossable, and cleanly die cut. (Nor-Cote's MSK Series Market Application Guide) | Polycarbonate, top-coated and print-treated polyester |
| 80 | It is abrasion and chemical resistant. Has excellent intercoat adhesion as well as substrate adhesion. It is opaque. Used for many purposes. (Nor-Cote's 80 Series technical specifications sheet)) | Polyethylene, polypropylene, soft vinyls, polyesters |
